About Hope for Guatemala

Does golf really make a difference?  Believe it!  The last five years we have proven that your round of golf can make a difference! The Annual Hope for Guatemala Atlanta Golf Tournaments have been a huge success. We raised over 70,000 dollars, which has had a tremendous impact on the ministry, benefiting over 200 children and their families.


Now you have the chance to make a difference again, as Hope for Guatemala is holding our 6th Annual Atlanta Golf Tournament. Proceeds will go to Hope for Guatemala's newest project called "City of Hope".  The City of Hope will be a place of refuge for more than 1,000 children and youth so that daily they can continue making an impact in their lives. We want to thank those who are already a part of The City of Hope where dreams can become a reality; Peace, Love, Kindness, and Faith.

HOPE provides a nutritious breakfast and lunch for the children each weekday as well as school supplies, tutoring and homework help, medical clinics, and civic, social and recreational activities to build strong moral and Christian character in this next generation.

To the children, HOPE is a haven restoring childhood innocence and joy--something they might not otherwise experience. "We want to show the children that yes, it's possible to have a different life from the one they've learned...over and over from generations," says José Armas, Founder of Hope for Guatemala . He is determined to encourage and equip these children.
